Jayapura – Pada hari kamis, 24 Agustus 2023 pukul 09.00 – 12.00 WIT, Madrasah Aliyah YPKP Sentani beralamat di Jalan YPKP no 16C Sentani- Jayapura telah diadakan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa dalam bentuk Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat oleh Tim PKM-PM dari Universitas Cenderawasih, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Tim PKM-PM ini berkolaborasi antar Jurusan Fisika, Biologi dan Farmasi bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kualitas ilmu pengetahuan karena setiap anggota Tim memiliki keahlian dan pengalaman yang berbeda-beda. Ini dapat membantu mengatasi masalah atau tantangan yang dihadapi dalam Pendidikan dan mampu memberikan berbagai solusi yang inovatif. Tim PKM-PM kami dengan beranggotakan:
- Tiyas Nur Janah Jurusan Fisika
- Jepron Ben Wenda Jurusan Biologi
- Meson Yikwa Jurusan Farmasi
Dosen pendamping: Hardi Hamzah, S.Pd.,M.Si.
Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Sekolah. Pada kurikulum ini memberikan kesempatan guru untuk bebas memilih perangkat atau media pembelajaran. Pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum Merdeka ini berbasis pada proyek dan studi kasus. Peserta didik mempelajari isu-isu yang ada di lingkungannya, kemudian membuat proyek untuk bisa memberikan solusi atas isu-isu tersebut. Tentunya ini membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan dan peserta didik bisa terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran.
Tim PKM-PM kami memberikan solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini yaitu “Pemanfaatan Sensor Berbasis Mikrokontroler untuk Menguji Kualitas Air Danau Sentani Dalam Implementasi Merdeka Belajar di MA YPKP Sentani Jayapura”. Adapun kegitan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat tersebut seperti pemberian edukasi pentingnya kualitas air bersih, pelatihan cara menggunakan alat Mikrokontroler untuk uji kualitas air, dan ikut bersama-sama turun lapangan secara langsung mengambil berbagai jenis sampel air Danau sentani yang nantinya akan dilakukan pengujian kualitas air.
